Spendrup Fan Co has been building heavy-duty ventilation fans for mines from Grand Junction, Colorado since the late 1960s. Their fans keep air moving underground across North America and beyond, but their website didn't reflect the quality of the work. Never Settle partnered with Spendrup to build out the brand, expand the site into a complete product and service experience, and put the people behind the fans front and center.

Spendrup's website looked dated and undersold a family business with six decades of engineering behind it. Fans, dust control, engineering and service were squeezed into too few pages, so buyers had to dig for what they needed. And the things that make Spendrup different, the team, the shop floor and the next generation of the family, were almost invisible.
We built out the Spendrup brand into a confident, modern industrial identity, then redesigned the website around clear user journeys for each type of buyer. The site grew from 10 pages to 38, built in Webflow from a flexible library of reusable sections, with real footage from the factory floor and the field woven through every page.
A modern Webflow website that finally matches the quality of Spendrup's fans. Mine operators and engineers can find the right fan, part or service quickly, international customers have dedicated regional pages, and video of the team at work gives the brand the human face it was missing.

Mining is an industry built on trust. A ventilation fan isn't a nice-to-have underground, it's what keeps crews safe and operations running, so buyers choose suppliers they can rely on for decades. Spendrup had earned that reputation, but their brand and website were still presenting them like a parts catalog.
We built out the brand into a complete system for digital, with a bolder visual language, a clearer voice and a photography and video direction centered on real people and real equipment. The goal was a brand that feels as tough as the fans themselves while still showing the family and the team behind the name, including a stronger focus on Trent and Jens and the continuity between generations.

Spendrup's customers range from mine operators who need a replacement part today to engineers specifying a custom-built fan for a new project. We reorganized the site around those journeys, with dedicated sections for Ventilation, Dust Control, Engineering and Parts & Services, and individual pages for main and primary fans, auxiliary and booster fans, custom-engineered solutions, engineered repair, field service and retrofits. Regional pages for Canada, Mexico and Europe support Spendrup's growing international customer base.
Navigation got the same attention. A two-tier header keeps the phone number one glance away at all times, larger menu items with short descriptions help visitors find the right page first time, and a new "See how it's built" call to action takes curious buyers straight onto the shop floor. Signed-off FAQs and clear inquiry forms give every page an obvious next step.

Spendrup's biggest asset was something the old site never showed: the work itself. We cut hours of factory and field footage into looping hero videos of sparks, plasma cutting and drone shots of fans in the field, plus feature videos on each page explaining how Spendrup fans are designed, built and serviced. Customer testimonials from mine operators and a conversation with Trent and Jens about the company's promise let the people speak for the brand.
To keep the site fast, video is self-hosted for performance and control, and limited to a few carefully placed clips per page. The whole site was developed in Webflow from a library of around 15 reusable sections, so the Spendrup team can add pages and update content as the business grows, without needing a developer for every change.
