Empower LMS
By using an out of the box LMS system and available plugins available on the Wordpress platform we were able to create a flexible LMS for the Truckers against Trafficking that met the initial needs and put courses in front of those who needed to learn about the dangers and reality of trafficking. Because we were able to use existing technologies we were able to keep the costs low while putting a powerful system fourth that could teach the basics of knowing how to look for the signs of human trafficking.
Due to the initial ground work of the LMS system Truckers throughout the United States were able to take the course and gain the knowledge needed to oppose the horrible realities of human trafficking. We have since been involved in expanding the LMS and putting together a CDL required course where all drivers from Arkansa are required to take and pass the course before acquiring their CDL licenses. Other states are beginning to follow suite.
